Since mid-2024, the Abu Dhabi Real Estate Committee (ADREC) has taken significant steps to regulate the Abu Dhabi real estate market. ADREC has started penalizing agents without a Broker License Number (BLN) and those advertising unregistered projects.
In February 2024, Property Finder signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with ADREC to ensure collaboration in data exchange, enhancing the reliability and accuracy of Abu Dhabi listings. This partnership ensures that only registered brokerages and ADREC-licensed brokers can practice real estate in Abu Dhabi.
In July 2024, Property Finder held two follow-up meetings with ADREC to align on implementation strategies. Subsequently, we communicated with all active Property Finder clients in Abu Dhabi regarding the BLN requirement and its display on our platform.
